We reviewed the brain MRI of patients with Wolfram Syndrome and found white matter lesions suggestive of an inflammatory process in 41% of them.
While a dual diagnosis Wolfram syndrome-Multiple Sclerosis cannot be excluded, these findings suggest that long term brain MRI follow up in adult patients with Wolfram syndrome is recommended.
